Research interests
Werner Gaulke joined the Interactive Systems Research Group after receiving a diploma degree in Computer Science from the University Duisburg-Essen in 2009. His research interests are mainly located in the area of e-commerce, like intelligent web mining techniques and sentiment analysis of customer reviews or semantic product data management.
In the SoFar project, Werner developes techniques for the automated evolution of semantic recommender systems by exploiting customer product feedback, whereas he researches intuitive ways of interacting with semantic product data sets in OPDM, another funded research project. Besides that, Werner conducts eye-tracking studies focusing on perception of recommendations and e-commerce usability in general.
